Hot water was turned off at hand sink near three-bay - ensure hot water stays on at all times.

INSPECTOR DID NOT NOTICE ANY SMELL UPON ENTERING KITCHEN AREA. AFTER RUNNING 3-BAY SINK, HAND SINK, MOP SINK, AND RESTROOM HAND SINK FOR SEVERAL MINUTES, INSPECTOR COULD SMELL A GREASE TRAP SMELL. PIC STATED THAT THE ODOR SEEMED TO COME FROM THE FLOOR DRAIN AS WELL. DURING THE INSPECTION, ANOTHER MANAGER ARRIVED. THE OTHER MANAGER STATED THAT THE GREASE TRAP WAS RECENTLY CLEANED A FEW WEEKS AGO. THEY HAVE BEEN USING DRAIN CLEANER TO KEEP THE ODOR DOWN. INSPECTOR NOTICED GREASE TRAP LID MAY HAVE NOT BEEN SECURELY RE-ATTACHED. MANAGEMENT HAS PUT IN A WORK ORDER TO HAVE DRAINS PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED. IF WATER OR SEWAGE BEGINS TO FLOW FROM FLOOR DRAIN(S), ESTABLISHMENT SHALL CLOSE IMMEDIATELY. NO FLIES OR OTHER SANITION ISSUES NOTED. NO VIOLATIONS FOUND. |
