Non-illness Complaint 2020-12-03 In Violation Spoke with manager - upon entering for inspection, one employee working on the line did not have a mask on, but put one on immediately when asked. There are extra boxes of masks on site in case employees forget theirs. In terms of social distancing, manager stated they are trying to limit to only 2 tables of people eating indoors at one time. Inspector suggests marking tables that are not available for use with some kind of signage or indication that the table should not be used. Manager suggested just keeping the chairs up on the table. Manager also stated they sanitize tables in between customer use. With respect to lines forming, manager stated they do not generally have a problem with a line forming at the counter. Inspector suggests putting marks on the floor (masking tape X's or some other form) to indicate how far apart people should stand from one another. There are also bottles of condiments on the table - inspector suggests putting away bottles and only using them upon request so they can be sanitized in between customer use, or individually portioning out condiments into single use containers. Currently they are using individually wrapped plastic ware for utensils. Inspector also suggests hanging signage on the door stating masks are required for all patrons. The only menu used in the establishment is a digital one hanging above the counter, although they have an extra menu hanging in the window so you can view it from the outside as well. Violations Complaint Report
Recheck 2020-12-07 In Violation Upon entering, both employees had on masks. Ensure mask is worn correctly over nose and mouth. Manager stated he ordered floor stickers for social distancing when ordering food, he is just waiting on them to arrive. All chairs at the tables were up, so no tables are available for eating at currently. NOTE: you can have indoor dining (50%), tables must be adequately spaced to allow for 6ft social distancing. Manager stated not many people eat inside anyways. Condiments are still on tables - if not using tables, please go ahead and remove condiment bottles to avoid customer contact. Inspector also suggests hanging signage stating that face coverings are required - provided Health Dept signage, but you can also make up your own signs to hang if you prefer. Will schedule a follow-up visit to check to see remaining suggestions are implemented. Violations Report
Recheck 2020-12-09 In Compliance Manager ordered social distancing floor signs which he added during inspection in case a line forms at the counter. Decision is still to keep chairs up at the tables because not many people choose to eat inside. Chairs were up upon entry. Manager was wearing a mask upon entry, only employee working at the time. All suggestions have been implemented, no follow-up scheduled. Left signage again to hang up. Violations Report
